Also, Xerox is the only vendor to provide McAfee built-in security that protects the multifunction printers from outside threats. Nothing can run on the device unless it has been whitelisted.
New software and firmware updates are released on a regular basis for most copiers and printers. This software is traditionally updated manually by the end user which can leave devices with out of date software and networks susceptible to new security threats. With our new Firmware Connect App, once they have been approved by Marcotek and Xerox, newly updated firmware and software updates are automatically downloaded to the copiers and printers overnight. This helps to ensure that your devices have the latest software updates which include security patches for newly discovered threats.
